About the Program
Celebrate Recovery is a support group committed to creating a safe place for men and women to share their experience strength and hope with each other. As a fellowship of men and women recovering from behaviors that have affected us in our lives, our purpose is to grow spiritually and in our relationship with God. For our guide, we use the Holy Bible and Celebrate Recovery Materials to help us on our journey of recovery. We are here for our own benefit, to share our own experience, strength and hope with others. We are not here to talk about others, to condemn, criticize, or judge them. Our desire is to improve the quality of our lives as we apply what we learn from listening to and sharing with each other. Our hope is in the belief that we can succeed today in situations where we failed previously. As we place ourselves in the care of our Higher Power, Jesus Christ, our attitudes improve as we honestly, openly, and willingly look at who we are and engage in healthier behavior. Although many of the principles and traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous are used as part of the basis of our group we recognize Gods word as the final authority in the recovery process. We respect the confidentiality and anonymity of each person. Remember that whatever you here at any CR meeting is shared with the trust and confidence that it will remain within the group. If you are new to a Twelve-Step support group, we offer you a special welcome and invite you to attend at least 6 meetings to give yourself a fair chance to decide if Celebrate Recovery is for you. We encourage you to exchange phone numbers and to get acquainted with other people who are in recovery themselves. (Phone lists, literature, and information about support groups are available. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the leadership  through the "Contact Us" tab within this website).  The Twelve Steps / 8 principles represent a way of life that provides a way out of our destructive behaviors and a new freedom beyond our wildest expectations.
